This was a good weekend with the family and then a buddy tells me, ” hey, we’re at the park by your house.” So I slap on my Pendleton, 501’s, grab a hat and I’m out. I warm up La Rata (the 68 C20 truck) cause none of my other rides are registered or road worthy, and hit the road. I’m there in like 7 minutes and pull through the parking lot to discover a BUNCH of Kustoms. fords, merc’s, impalas, a couple chevelles and even a rat rod (beautiful lil chevy). It was a sea of Tru=Spokes, Rockets, Craiger’s and hub caps. Primer and rust have never looked so beautiful to me. The thirst for something lowered partched me, leaving me longing for a torch to heat my coils. I found the Strays, said what’s up to Los Boulevardos, and went around meeting people and seeing cars. A great warm up to the News Day Majestic’s BBQ.
It left me a little sad that I didn’t have any of my lows ready for “a moment’s notice” cruise, but I found a picture of the line up i missed and the found the motivation to get my convertible primered and street ready.
